Walked in on a Wednesday night with a party of 12 and baby (extended family.) I'm in the industry so I was already on edge as I know how much of a pain it is when large groups walk in with no reservation. I was so pleasantly surprised with not only how efficient they were in taking care of us, but especially how nice they were during the service. The food was fantastic and our server Stepheny was super attentive and precise with our separate check situation. Great experience and I can see why this small town place was so busy on a random Wednesday night. Will definitely be coming back next time we're in Adams.
I was in this area for work and wanted to sit for lunch. This place had some solid ratings which were accurate. I started with a cup of French onion soup. It was solid. I was feeling fat so I ordered a side salad instead of fries. It was the smart decision but I regret it. The salad was fine but I saw the fries at the next table and they looked good. I finished with a steak wrap. This was very good. They actually used cut up pieces of steaks grilled how you want it. They don't use the cheap steak um type meat you get places. The wrap had roasted red peppers and grilled onions. I was very pleased. The waitress was excellent. She was friendly and fast. It was very clean inside so no worries there either. Place is worth a shot if you haven't been.
Great breakfast except... Ordered the breakfast poutine..great, except bacon is burnt. Not sure if they put it in a fryer but definitely not grilled. Companion ordered omelet and same issue...burnt bacon inside omelet and not chopped up. Large strips. They need to chop the bacon.
About an hour north of the city is a restaurant called SpookHill Bar and Grill in Adams Center. I know it's not in the immediate Syracuse area. But I do know that a lot of people take their four wheelers and snowmobiles to the Tug Hill, where this establishment is located. If you don't have an interest in this information , just scroll on bye. I eat breakfast here about once a month. I have yet to encounter a bad one. Today I was lucky enough to catch Rays Burnt Ends special. Burnt ends mixed with home fries, topped with fried onions. Two over easy eggs and rye toast as well. A tasty treat indeed. Notice the "short stack" (3) order of pancakes. Wow! A regular stack is 5 pancakes. Omelets and waffles hit the spot. You definitely get your monies worth here. Our waitress was friendly and attentive for our party of 8. So if you're heading up to do some 4 wheeling or sledding, this is a great place for breakfast. A definite Check 'em Out!! rating......
Stopped in for a late lunch for the first time. Food was fresh and delicious. I had a steak salad and hubs hand the bacon burger. My salad was loaded with fresh tender steak and bacon. The burger was huge on a gorgeous fresh bun. Beautiful day to sit outside. Servers were very attentive and came multiple time to check on our drinks and food. If ever we're out that way we will return. It's a bar so music was loud but they lowered it when we went outside to sit and we did t even have to ask.
